micro-lending Cecilia from Texas A&M

Dear Cecilia!

could I please pick you brain regarding some micro-finance enterprises?
..............

I was told to DREAM and go wild and think of a business plan that could work in Colonias.
I dont even know where to start looking for answers.
.......

..

Dear Bara,
....
I suggest you read this article:
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6V9H-51RBGG6-1&_user=952835&_coverDate=04%2F30%2F2011&_alid=1743023561&_rdoc=1&_fmt=high&_orig=search&_origin=search&_zone=rslt_list_item&_cdi=5899&_sort=r&_st=13&_docanchor=&view=c&_ct=1&_acct=C000049198&_version=1&_urlVersion=0&_userid=952835&md5=951a7b1faa152bb341b69b0c2c0efc1d&searchtype=a
.. This is one version of micro-credit that is not for business but for house improvements.
...

I think the concept of microlending can be expanded (and HAS been expanded) and should allow you to use it in a creative "architectural" way. Let  me know what you think, and we can start/continue a conversation.

Good luck,  ....

Cecilia
